Guidelines for Bringing Guests on Unscheduled Days to the Clothing Closet
Our Clothing Closet is one of our most impactful outreach programs, serving individuals and families in need each month. This ministry requires a great deal of time and effort to prepare, and we’re so thankful for everyone who contributes to its success.
Sometimes, people cannot attend the Clothing Closet on its scheduled day. In these cases, church members often step up to bring them or meet them at Snellville Christian Church (SCC) to ensure their needs are met.

If you plan to bring a guest to the Clothing Closet outside of normal operating days, we ask that you carefully follow these procedures to keep the space organized and ready for the next event:

  • Notify Leadership: Before allowing any guest(s) to “shop,” please inform Dee Baum or Carly Coffman that you’re bringing someone on an unscheduled day.
  • Guests Must Be Accompanied: All guests must be accompanied by an SCC member during their visit.
  • Sign-In Process: Upon entering the first room on the right side of the gym, the SCC member should fill out the guest sign-up sheet on the clipboard and include their own name as the SCC member escorting the guest.
  • Leave Rooms in Order: Ensure that all rooms are left as you found them.
  • Maintain Tidiness:
  • Do not leave clothing on the floor.
    • Avoid throwing clothing onto racks.
    • Place any loose clothing on hangers and hang them neatly on the racks.
    • Pick up all empty hangers from the floors and racks and return them to the “hanger rack” located in the room closest to the men’s restroom.

By following these simple guidelines, you help ensure that the Clothing Closet remains presentable and ready to serve others. Thank you for your dedication to this vital ministry and for helping us share God’s love with our community.
