At SCC we simply want to live out what Jesus called the two greatest commandments: 1) Love God and 2) Love People.

These commands are found in Matthew 22:37-40 after Jesus is asked which law is the most important:

"Jesus replied, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: Love your neighbor as yourself.'" 

The big idea behind our community is that every woman, man, girl and boy—every age, every ethnicity—would find a home in God. This is a home where they belong. God has made us a family, and we want to be a community that operates as a family.
