The Elders and Ministry staff have been in prayer and discussion about when we would consider returning to in person meetings at Snellville Christian Church. Our goal is to keep all of our church family safe and free of this virus, which means we want to be cautious with how we return to meeting together.
It is our desire to make decisions based upon recommendations that come from health experts and government authorities in order to keep our congregation safe. In addition to our commitment to continue broadcasting SCC services online, here is an outline of a three phase plan to keep you informed as to how we envision our services will look as we plan on coming back together.
- Phase 1 of our plan is to hold outdoor, drive-in style gatherings.
- Phase 2 will transition us back into our building with social distancing protocols implemented.
- Phase 3 of our in person gatherings will reduce social distancing regulation to return Sunday mornings to our new normal.
We will continue to monitor the situation and be prayerful about when to transition to the next phase. Ultimately everyone will have to make a decision that is best for their family when it comes to meeting together. We will be broadcasting all of our services online for anyone to watch from home.
