First Wednesday of every month, Snellville Christian Church has a clothing closet that distributes clothes to those families in need.  There is no prequalification needed. Simply stop by our Family Life Center located directly behind the church on the first Wednesday night of the month. We offer clothing for children and adults, male and female. You will never be expected to pay for any items you receive from us.

The Clothing Closet will be open with safety protocols in place Wednesday, January 4th.

Our Clothing Closet is open to anyone who could use some free clothing. All we ask is that you bring some form of ID and fill out a waiver and info sheet when you arrive if you haven't already. We have extended the time from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and are scheduling 20 minute appointments for shopping. For every 20 minute time slot our max occupancy is 5 people plus our volunteers due to the room's small size. We ask that all children either stay at home or in your vehicles during your scheduled shopping time.

Quote from a community member:

"This clothing closet is a huge help to the community. We are a family of six on a thousand dollar month income. Not only that, one of my sons has autism, and I can't take him to a regular store because it is too overwhelming. However, he is able to shop and be comfortable here."

We have served over 200 local individuals and look forward to helping out anyone else that may be in need. If you're an individual who could use some help with clothing for yourself or your family, please don't hesitate to come by and check out the clothing that we're constantly updating from gracious donations from our congregation and the community.

If you would like more information about receiving clothing, donating clothes, or volunteering on a Wednesday night call or e-mail the church office.
